Induction Nursing Program for Foreign Educated Nurses
As you may know, the Singapore government is planning to bring more and more foreign talents to Singapore for work and study. In Singapore and the world, many countries including Singapore are facing the shortage of nurses. Therefore, the Singapore government is encouraging foreign nurses to work in Singapore. In line with this government direction, Harriet Educational Group provides this work and study program nursing program for both local and foreign students. Candidate who had passed a successful interview with the Harriet school will be granted admission to the program consist of the following
- Upon passing of Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) Licensure examination, candidates can be a registered Nurse in Singapore with monthly gross salary of S$1800.
- Valid work pass for successfully placed candidates;
- Pursue a 2-year degree program leading Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Nursing awarded by University of Sunderland, UK.

The entry requirement for this program is as follows:
- Has Diploma in Nursing from recognized college/university, or equivalent,
- Must have a valid registered Nurse license from board of Nursing in the country that the applicant is currently practicing;
- IELTS 6.5 or successful completion of their higher qualifications in English
- Must have at least 3-year working experience in a 250 beds hospital.
Note: For applicant who failed the criteria (iii), you are advised to take the IELTS again, the school may also request you to take an English course in Singapore prior to the start of the BSc course.

Your future salary as nurse in Singapore
You can expect to earn gross Monthly Salary S$1,800 (Gross Monthly Salary includes monthly basic salary, overtime and allowances.) during the two years period. Applicants with recognized Nursing Degree and 3 years working experience in a 250 beds critical hospital can expect to earn Gross Monthly Salary S$1,800 to S$2,500. After you complete the course and get the BSc degree in Nursing, you can expect to earn Gross Monthly Salary S$1,800 to S$2,500.
Enrolment Procedure
Step 1: Submission of admission forms & payment of registration fee of S$200 for assessment.
<The school will review and evaluate applicant’s eligibility to the program as applied within 2 weeks of receipt of application>
Step 2: Interview sessions via telephone. Only if you pass this interview, will you join this program.
Step 3: Upon successful interview, letter of enrolment, student contract, application forms for student pass application and invoice for 10% of tuition fees or first installment will be issued to the applicant..
Step 4: Applicant shall pay the 10% of the tuition fee or first installment to Harriet based on the due data (usually is 2 weeks upon receipt of the letter of enrolment) as stipulated on the Letter of Enrolment issued by the school.
Step 5: Upon receipt of the 10% tuition fees or first installment, the school shall proceed to apply for student pass on behalf of the applicant. Processing time will take approximately 2-4 months.
Step 6: Once application of student pass has been approved by the authority (Immigration & Checkpoint Authority), applicant shall pay the balance tuition fees and other non-tuition fees or second installment upon receipt of the In Principle – Approval letter from Immigration & Checkpoint Authority.
Step 7: You will have 3 months preparatory course for SNB RN licensure examination and module 1 for BSc (HONS) in nursing.
Step 8: Upon passing of SNB RN licensure examination, you will have an interview with prospective employer as registered nurse.
Step 9: Letter of appointed offered to successful candidates and processing of work permit.
Step 10: Commencement of work
Step 11: Continuation of BSc (HONs) in nursing modules on part basis.
Note : All applicant are subject to attend an admission interview and acceptance of enrolment only upon successful interview.

Payment of Program Fee – Use your salary to pay the program fee
There are 3 ways of payment of program fees as follows
Full payment

Installment. You can use your salary to pay the program fee. You only need to pay part of the program fee because you come to Singapore to join this program.

Bank loan. You can apply for bank loan at your own country or Singapore. The bank loans are subjected to the approval of the banks. It is very easy to get the education bank loan from India. Almost all our applicants from India successfully apply for the bank loan from India. If you can get the bank loan, you only need to pay Singapore dollar 200 of registration fee before you come to Singapore to join this program! If you want to apply for bank loan in Singapore, you need to find 2 persons in Singapore to be your guarantors, who must be Singaporean or PRs. So please check out your local banks for the procedure of applying for bank loans.
